The Kat's Staff Mission Statement to develop Kat dancers that are happy, healthy, and responsible. Help each Kat to appreciate their innate worth; Help each Kat to nurture their health & keep them safe from harm; Help each Kat to love to learn the art of Dance and Cheerleading and to accept challenges; Help each Kat to understand, care about, and help others;
...all as we are helping them to master and refine dancing & cheerleading skills. Our Unifying Principles - Unconditional Respect - Respect is absolutely unconditional and must be there in order for this to work.
- Trustworthiness - We must have of a strong foundation of trust. And trust is possible only with each Kat's dedication to being trustworthy.
- Teamwork - Each Kat must set aside her own venue in order to get to the TEAM value of Together Everyone Achieves More.
- Open Communication - Communcation is open and forthright:
- Communicate positively, saying what you would like to see, rather than what you do not want to say;
- In disagreement with another, speak only with the person with whom you disagree and who can help resolve the problem;
- Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
- Perpetual Growth
- Personal growth for each Kat;
- Abilities in dance and cheer growth for each Kat;
- Staff Growth - Staff growth is a natural by-product of paying attention to the first two. There is no such thing as the status quo: there is only growth or degradation.
- Reverence for the Staff - Our staff requires your respect, many of the Kat's depend upon our Staff for their growth and recreation as well as their livelihood.
